• Welcome to our site. At "Nine Fist Warriors" we hope to familiarize both the Martial Artist and their sponsor with the point tournament circuit. Having been to dozens upon dozens of tournaments in the last 25 years as both judges and competitors, we feel that the information on this site will be beneficial to tournament competitors participating in open point or light contact tournaments.
   
• This is a child safe site and we will not be promoting knife techniques, throat and eye strikes or techniques causing fatalities. Also, we will not allow any photographs or diagrams using knives or guns. We will not show pictures of any individuals in a submissive state.
   
• The point tournament or light contact karate tournament circuit is defined as striking the target area so that it does not move or moves slightly to show control of all techniques and power behind all said techniques. Any contact striking the target and causing injury or causing the target to move excessively or drawing blood is construed as "excessive contact" and will not be acceptable on the point contact tournament circuit. The individual causing such harm is subject to disqualification.
   
• Note: At some brown and black belt levels medium contact techniques are acceptable.
